Our commitment. We want nmpnewyork.co to be usable by everyone, whatever their ability and however they browse. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What we have done. This site was built by hand rather than assembled from a template, and accessibility was part of building it rather than a pass at the end:

• Colour contrast is measured against WCAG 2.2 AA programmatically, across every colour scheme the site ships with, rather than judged by eye.
• The navigation, search and bag panels are fully keyboard-operable: each one opens, closes with Escape, and holds keyboard focus inside itself while open.
• The site works without JavaScript. Panels open, and the bag remains reachable as an ordinary link.
• Motion respects your system setting. If you have asked your device to reduce motion, slideshows, transitions and autoplaying video fall back to something static.
• Images reserve their space before they load, so content does not jump under you as a page settles.
• Headings, landmarks and link text are written to be meaningful when read aloud by a screen reader.

Where we fall short. Accessibility is ongoing, not finished. Some third-party components — checkout, payment providers, and embedded media — are outside our control, and we do not claim conformance on their behalf.

We aim to respond within 5 business days, and we will work with you to get you what you needed in another way while we fix it.
